In the middle of March SAR participated in the international energy trade fair, Power & Electricity World Africa 2010, as an exhibitor.
As a follow up to the Solar expo ISES, SAR could expand beyond its solar offerings and also present its competencies in the energy sector.
Solar farms and environmental technologySAR and Terrafix presented themselves with concepts for solar farms, turnkey systems (see also new photo voltaic project in the USA), but also smaller systems for country specific needs. Experience and know-how of the SAR Environmental Technology was show cased by means of example projects:
Clean energy for South AfricaEnergy supply is an urgent subject in South Africa. Industrial plants can partly not be realized because of a shortage of electricity. Existing plants largely have very bad CO2 values.Many areas require action. Here SAR sees big chances for both sides: Know-how from Germany for environmental protection in South Africa.
