SAR with 'Sausage' technology booth and e-racing cars at AUTOMATICA |
The AUTOMATICA in Munich is an international meeting for the automation industry and the world's largest robotics fair. The entire manufacturing industry can find advanced automation solutions here.
From the 22nd to 25th of May 2012, 31,000 visitors from over 100 countries visited AUTOMATICA and 720 exhibitors demonstrated their solutions in five exhibition halls.
SAR also presented innovative solutions from its core business to numerous interested parties.
Strong interest in innovative automation solutions by SAR
In addition to presenting SAR's key competencies using the 'Sausage and Beer' technology booth, the issue of solutions for e-mobility was in the spotlight at the exhibition stand.
Both the sausage robot and the electric racing car from the Deggendorf University - this season, SAR is sponsoring the Formula Student Electric Team at the university - proved to be veritable visitor magnets.
Current flagship projects illustrated the SAR Group's professional and innovative automation solutions, including the production of lightweight carbon fibre, plastic or lightweight metal components.
Positive results
On the one hand, the SAR employees were able to conduct a number of interesting and promising conversations with new business contacts. On the other hand, a number of long-time customers and
associates visited - it's now almost a tradition - SAR at their booth. As usual, current developments and experiences were discussed.
